7 Months Old!

I can not believe miss Afton is in the evening months of her first year...She is growing up so fast and I can see that the next few months are going to have lots of new things in store for us!

No doctor visits this month, so we will just pinch her little legs ourselves to mark the occasion.

New This Month- Afton loves holding our hands and walking around the house. I am afraid this girl may go straight to walking. She has also spent this month eating tons of new foods and even got a few "puffs" today to celebrate her 7 month birthday. She is talking up a storm and has recently started crying when we take something away from her.

Children's Festival

We took advantage of this awesome day to hit up the Pittsburgh Children's Festival. Though Afton is too small for face painting and crafts, she was able to enjoy the petting zoo and meet a celebrity!!!

All by Myself!!

Looks like we are in for it! After a little help from Mom pulling up Afton was very excited to stand up all by herself.

Bad Medicine.

Afton has already developed some opinionated taste buds. She refuses to take her vitamins anymore and honestly I do not blame her. I tasted some of this crap the other day and it tasted like dog poop dipped in rusty oil.

I'm on my way...

We are thinking this girl may be walking before she crawls based on the new trick Sean has taught her.

Bathtime

Bath time just got a whole lot more interesting around here. Afton has outgrown her tummy tub. It was good while it lasted but now it is being retired as a tub and used for cleaning her toys, the floors or really anything you would use a bucket for.
So, what to use next? We can't have her sit in our tub until the bathroom is refinished. We used a glorified bucket for 6 months, so why NOT a storage bin... We were able to pull the seat out of the bucket and suction it to the bottom of this storage bin. She loves it and we can use it to store some clothes when she graduates to the big tub.
