Shots!!!

Poor Afton got some shots today. The nurses were all talking about how happy she was, then they stuck her with needles.... She was pretty upset but recovered quickly and took quite a nap. Tonight she is still feeling a little sad but we think after a good nights sleep she will be back to her happy little self!

Dr. Voight said she is doing great. Check out her stats.

weight- 10lb. 5 oz (35th percentile)
length- 24 1/2 inches (98th percentile!!)
head- 39cm (55th percentile, it has to be a little bigger to hold her huge brain!)

2 Months Old!!

Miss Afton is 2 months old already! She see the doctor on Thursday and will be getting some shots. Hopefully she does not take after Sean when it comes to needles.
We will update her stats after her visit.

This Months Achievements- Rolled over from belly to back twice (I swear it is true!), Holds her head pretty steady, stopped pooping 10 times a day, is sleeping 7 or 8 hours a night (last night 9!!), is laughing and smiling like a crazy woman.
Favorite things- Sean playing guitar, her monkey toy, being naked on the changing table, rock a bye baby beatles cd, steve.

Afton has been gracing us with tons of smiles these days. She seems to really love being naked on the changing table, where we get screams and laughs- especially when she pees all over the place. I tried to catch her on video but she gets too distracted by the camera.

7 weeks!

Thanksgiving

Miss Afton was busy this thanksgiving with a trip to Fremont to meet all kinds of people followed by an active Thanksgiving back home meeting even more family. She enjoyed every minute of it and slept 7 1/ 2 hours on Sunday!!! (Gina, that beats your 7 hour Tuesday miracle)

What kind of city is this!!

When you buy a house in the city you do not expect this outside your window. Unfortunately we did not get the camera in time to catch this creature munching on what is left of my herb garden but we did manage to get a shot in the lot next door.

Miss Action Afton rolled over today!!! She was on her tummy and though she may have already been positioned to her advantage she ended up on her back. It was very exciting.

Mega Brain!

1 MONTH OLD!!

I can't believe it has been a whole month since little Miss Afton joined our family. She has accomplished a lot this month.

Weight 8lbs. 5oz

achievements: is successfully eating, lifts her head up when she is on her belly, makes eye contact with us, sleeps up to 4 hours at night, takes a bottle and most important- she smiles!!

Afton made a visit to the doctor today and is now up to 8lbs. 5 oz!! We are all very proud of her chub.
