Play Date!

Afton had a friend over today for a playdate. Miss Harper's mother had to go to the lab today to work with toxic chemicals and she thought our house would be a safer place for the baby for a few hours....
Afton was very excited. She shared her toys with Harper, sometimes aggressively. She showed off quite a bit and eventually "helped" rock Harper to sleep.
Afton passed out herself about 5 minutes after Harper left.

Dad's Work

Afton loves going to B&N to drop off her Dad. I am pretty sure she must think he works at Santa's workshop. For those of you who have not been to a B&N lately, they have pretty much added on a toy store. Afton loves playing with the train table and giving "performances" on the stage.
All the women there love her even though she will not give them the time of day. Her only reaction to an employee is when she gets sample rice krispee treats from the Cafe.

After a few attempts, Afton's kitchen is finally complete. She LOVES it!

15 Months!

Afton had her 15 month check up today and I figured there is no better time to get my crap together and update this blog than right now.
According the the doctor and his graph- She is off the charts! Afton's height (33.5 inches) literally did not fall with a percentile range on the chart. The chart stops at the 95th percentile and her little "x" was well above that mark. Her weight is around the 70th percentile at 24lbs. I can not say we are surprised. We have started to borrow her Grandma Gabel's nickname of Hoss due to the insane amount of food this girl consumes.

She is crying because Sean is not sharing his soup with her. She had just eaten a snack, that most kids would consider a full meal, 15 minutes before.

Fresh Moves

Afton has decided to try out some new moves. She has been doing this all day.

Pumpkin Patchin

We continued Afton's birthday celebration with a trip to Janosky's Pumpkin Patch with Aaron Varga for some photos. They turned out great! Afton was pretty tired having slept on about an hour or so the night before (thanks to the cake), but she worked it out for some photos.
